No Limit

The minute I saw the whole denim meets fishnet situation...I had to have it. I love the way they crash together but of course my search for tall fishnets wasn't very fruitful. I mean, it's hard enough to find the tall denim part, let alone fishnets that are long enough for these long legs hunni! Guess who came to my rescue?,,,

ASOS baby! I can't say enough about their tall line. I squeal every time I visit the page because there is always something new that is just what this tall girl ordered. My version of hitting the lotto would be one of everything in ASOS tall for life. Publishers Clearing House taint got nothing on that. Ok, ok. I would take the money too but I know you feel me.

Their fishnet leggings are just the right length and fit underneath denim beautifully. These beautiful jeans are from ASOS too. As you can see, they are long and have crazy good details like the hi-low hem. I wear these with everything.

Oh...hey hair. How you doin?

And let us not forget to talk about this cropped jacket from Long Tall Sally. It is sublime. It's cropped in the right spot, the arms are long enough and it's super lightweight. This amazing little denim jacket is spot on for spring days and summer nights. It's part of the new CURATD X LTS line, which is equally as beautiful as this jacket.

I'm super happy that I found both the fishnet and cropped look in tall but don't you ever think that a style isn't for you because you can't find it. If it isn't out there...get to designing! If you can't sew, find someone who can and create your vision together.

Do not...I repeat...do not, let the limitations of the industry stop you from living your style life. Style is an expression of your unique creation...dress accordingly!

When you find a cardigan that is long in the body AND in the arms, you stop whatever you are doing and order it right away! This is certainly the case with the Long Line Pocket Knit Beige Cardi from Tall Girls UK. It's part of their new fall collection that is completely loved by me and I know that you will love it too.

Yes, I wore these leggings in the last post and guess what? There is nothing wrong with that. Recycling clothes is perfectly fine and at the end of the day who cares!?! Rock a basic piece like the leather look legging with multiple fits. That is what basic pieces are for.

Now...please don't kill me...but the boots are from 2 seasons ago and are no longer available (sad face). But here are some fun lace-up boot options that I found in various price points:

LTS Harriet Lace Up Knee High (up to size 15)

LTS Lola Combat Boot (comes in 2 colors, up to size 15)

Bella Vita Kirby Bootie (up to size 12)

Women's March Lace-Up Boot (up to size 13)

Yet another fit you will see me in all season! I've been on the go so much lately and crave comfy, chic styles. What you you looking forward to wearing this season?

Have a fabulous Monday and a crazy-good week lovely!

Winter finally set in on the west coast...well...our version of it anyway. When it started to get nippy out, I went in my closet to create layers which led to some major mixing of tall staples and off-the-rack items.

I began where I always do; a tall foundation. I used 2 pieces that are long and slimming. They cover and create the perfect palate for layers.

I then added a long, sleeveless sweater with a high collar to class up the joint and polished the look off with the marbled faux fur vest. With the foundation being appropriate in length, the layers can easily be copped right off the shelf. Don't believe me? Wear your tall basics to a store and try on a bunch of options. I guarantee you that you walk out with a new perspective of what will work for you in-store.

Well...that's all I got. Coming off of a 16 hour work day leaves little brain power. Yes, it says 16 hours. Don't ask.

Next up...I am off to NYC for a couple of days. I am checking out the Warriors on the road and most importantly having a blast in a city that I love with some amazing friends! I will be posting on Facebook and Instagram because that is what bloggers apparently do on trips:)

See you soon beautiful...slay the day!

I feel like winter just dropped in on us all at once. It went from a long t-shirt type of season to give me all of the layers you can and add a scarf situation. It's times like these where you need a fierce sweater and the chunky oversized sweater definitely fits the bill.

This Tall gem is one of those pieces that looks amazing but feels like you are wearing pajamas all day. Seriously, you feel like you are cuddled up in a blanket. The arm length is great (no cold wrists) and the body length is actually a proper tunic length.

Can we talk about the price for a minute. OK...so you know how most manufacturers add a katrillion dollars for every inch they add to a garment? Not THE HEIGHT. This sweater is only $50 which is a great price for all of that Tall sweater goodness.

I added some leather look leggings and my new converse babies to complete this look but you can rock some skinny jeans, a skirt, wide leg pants...really anything goes with this haute sweater.

Well...I really have nothing else to say about this FAB sweater so...until next time my Tall lovelies!

You know that saying, It's all in the details...well...it really is.

Take the Tall Clean Zip Coat from Next. It has a very classic cut but the colorblocking, high collar and buckle detail make it stand out in amazing ways. It's no longer a coat, it's a statement.

I paired it with what seems to be your typical leggings until you get to the knee. The trendsetter legging from LEL has a faux suede detail that brings them to a whole new level.

Lastly the booties (size 12) have patentblocking (I totally just made that up) and a button detail that give them a vintagey feel.

Moral of the story...look for small things that represent your style and set your look apart from the rest. Details are the frosting on the cupcake my tall friends:)
