No Tears Here

IMG_3873.jpg

I’m pretty sure this is the trifecta of length. Like who has long enough sleeves on their sweater, jeans (I swear they are long enough and it’s not the good ol’ cover the gap up with the boot trick:) and boots that are really over the knee??

This tall girl, that’s who!

And you can too!

This sweater though! It has the bell sleeves and they dang near go down to my knees. To say that I am infatuated by this sweater is an understatement and guess where it’s from? Boohoo. They have a tall line and I can’t even lie…I was suspect at first. Would it be long enough? Would it fall apart at those price points? The answer was very positive for both. As you can see, the arms are mad long and so far nothing has fallen apart. I have only tried out the tops, but me likey. I have this sweater and a nude bodysuit that I wore on my birthday. The price points were awesome because I got them on a flash sale. They have them all of the time so make sure to look out for them.

Now…ya’ll  know that I’m a rider for Smash Shoes. These boots are ev-a-ree-thang! They are comfortable to walk in (major key) and really hit over the knee. Now…don’t hurt me but they appear to be sold out now (except for size 12 in the grey option) but check out their full line and sign up for their emails for a first look at their new styles as they come in.

Last, but certainly not least are the skinnies. They are from newcomer Doubs Clothing. They come in 34”- 38” inseam. I love the stretch and they have an ankle detail that you can see by clicking here. I still don’t know how to pronounce their name correctly however I know the jeans fit correctly and that’s what matters my friends;)

So there you have it. The proof that it is possible to get everything in the correct length for us. I know it’s tough at times but no tears! Our choices have certainly gotten better will continue to get better. I will steady share every tall style ting I find and experience. I’m here for you girl!

You don't have to rock a dress to every soiree nor do you have to rock a traditional red and green colorblocked palette. You can make your look subtle or scream. It is completely up to you!

#ISparkleWhen I am completely myself. I love being me during the holidays and every other day of the year. I shine by being unapologetically me.

So whatever you decide to wear to your holiday parties...stand tall and rock it with confidence. You know what you like and feel best in. Get out there and strut mama!

When I wore this look, you couldn't tell me nothin! The faux fur is not only chic, it's warm too. The wrists were nice and toasty in this chilly weather. The pop of floral embroidery added a nice touch and I was completely comfy in the jeans and boots (the studs add an edge that I am completely here for). This look definitely captivated the room.

I really love the options LTS has for the holidays! There is a little bit of everything and guess what...you can win some of it! Throughout the whole month of December you can enter to win your own piece of LTS sparkle by entering to win HERE.

I really want to see what you rock for the holidays so don't forget to tag @TallSWAG in your posts. See you soon and whatever you do...don't forget to sparkle and shine all of the time!

New Jack City

So...I have been living in this coat! I swear to you, I can't remember the last day that I went without it. It's chic and really, you feel like you are wearing a blanket. I'm truly obsessed with it. Especially because this weather has been so crazy. You never really know what you are going to get!

I really love the length...it's a true longline on us! Another thing that I love is the sporty vibe. Yea, It's on trend but it's not too much sport. You can wear this coat with something casual or dressy. It's incredibly versatile and for me, hands down the coat of the season and seasons to come!

I paired it with my current fav legging at the moment from Tall Girls UK. Like the coat, they go with everything and admittedly I have been wearing them too often! I finished the look with some chic boots (similar here) and a remix on a turtleneck from Long Tall Sally (the neck is going crazy in these photos but I like the wide neck of the top ion real life lol).

Life note: I began another Daniel Fast (and also added television)! For 21 days I will be fasting, praying and reading my Bible. While I normally pray and read, while you fast it uncovers things that just amaze me! Things blossom in my life and I just love spending time with God. I will keep you updated on my fast journey on my Instagram story so join if you are interested...HERE is my last Daniel Fast experience:)

Thanks for reading...have a fabulous day beautiful!

The CURATD Life

I have a pretty good sized closet and a separate wardrobe. The amount of clothes that I have is kinda ridiculous and today solidified it. My poor wardrobe basically crumbled because the weight of the clothes bent the dang bar in half.

Even prior to my wardrobegate, I have been looking at ways to downsize all of my stuff. I have accumulated some clutter and she has to go! With that said, I have been looking at ways to adopt a life of giving away the old and efficiently acquiring the new.

Enter the CURATD collection from Long Tall Sally. The pieces are very well made, forward thinking and importantly versatile. As you can see in this lookbook, you can create a plethora of outfits from minimal pieces. It's a smart, stylish buy that will foster your fierce for seasons to come and right now...it's even better because the collection in on discount!

Thanks for checking out the lookbook and tell me what you want to see next!

I also have it on my heart to tell you this...

You are amazing. Stop believing those lies that they are telling you. Nothing about you is a mistake and every single part of you was meant for a purpose. You are here to make a change in a way that only YOU can. Stop comparing yourself to others and walk forward in faith knowing that He built you to do all things!

Cuffing Season

Just in case you didn't know...it's cuffing season (insert your favorite love emoji here). And currently I am cuffed all the way up with something warm, soft and just my type. Introducing my boo...

The CURATD x LTS Heavy Turtle Neck Knit (swoon)

I be cuddled up in this thang all day long. It's seriously an amazing sweater from an amazing collection. Listen...tell me the last sweater you had with pockets!?! My mind is completely blown. You KNOW how I feel about pockets. It was clearly meant to be.

I paired it with the CURATD X LTS 7/8 Raw Frayed Jeans that go with everything and have just the right amount of stretch. They hit right at the ankle and although you can't see it in these photos, the frayed hem is sublime.

Last but certainly not least are the LTS Lexie Over The Knee Boots that are...wait for it...actually over the knee!!! Go ahead. You can squeal. I do every time I put them on.

I love this look but trust me...stay tuned...because part 2 of the CURATD collection is coming soon and I can't wait to show it to you!

Until then mon cheri...
